In a powerful convergence of cinematic legacy and contemporary electronic music artistry, Juno Reactor<\/strong> (aka Ben Watkins) have released a stunning new remix of their iconic track \u2018Mona Lisa Overdrive\u2019 as a single today. Originally composed and scored for the 2003 movie \u2018The Matrix Reloaded\u2019, it has now been reimagined by the Slovenian DJ and producer Reaky Reakson.

\u201cThe track has always held a special place for me, as it was the very first piece I was asked to write for ‘The Matrix Reloaded,\u2019\u201d <\/em>states Watkins. “Reaky has given it a fresh intensity and perspective that feels both respectful and boldly new. To hear it now, years later, transformed through someone else\u2019s passion and imagination, is a rare and rewarding thing. The remix arrives following the recent premiere at the Tenerife Noir Festival of \u2018Inside The Matrix\u2019, an immersive live experience created by Juno Reactor. Featuring projected scenes from the films ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ and ‘The Matrix Revolutions\u2019, the set is built around the music written for the films and also celebrates the enduring cultural impact of The Matrix universe created by The Wachowskis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
