Los Angeles CA — \u201cEndless Hummer isn\u2019t just the title of our new album,\u201d says THE COCKS loquacious lead singer Zsa, \u201cit\u2019s a love letter to the Southern California mythos: part surf movie, part punk rock apocalypse, part glitter-dusted fever dream.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following up on their slamming 2022 debut, Loads of Fun, Endless Hummer takes the Los Angeles four-piece\u2019s signature mixture of catchy, anthemic punk rock and evolves it to the next level\u2014glam-punk with a sunstroke. \u201cWe\u2019re letting all our influences hang out on this one\u2014it\u2019s punk, it\u2019s Beach Boys, it\u2019s Zappa. It\u2019s anthemic, bawdy, and funny. It rocks like a beast. And of course, it\u2019s very gay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album kicks into high gear with \u201cSugar on The Rim,\u201d its first single and mission statement in miniature. Says Zsa, \u201cOn this one, we challenged ourselves to deliver a song in quadruple-entendre\u2014something slamming and sexy that leaves you wondering if we\u2019re talking about a margarita, your morning coffee, or, well\u2026you know. I think we nailed it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSex in Prison\u201d extolls the perks of same-sex captivity, combining it with an irresistibly danceable hook. \u201cThink of it as Jailhouse Cock,\u201d says Zsa. Meanwhile, \u201cBeing a Fag (In a RNR Band)\u201d is straight-ahead punk and a joyous reclaiming of the F-Word. Does the band care if anyone takes offense? \u201cContext matters,\u201d says Zsa. \u201cI\u2019m a fag in a rock \u2018n roll band, so I\u2019ll own it. Sorry, not sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGimme Gimme That Dick\u201d treads familiar phallocentric territory for the band, built on a beefy \u201870s glam-rock hook and an unabashed lyrical craving for a rock \u2018n roll drummer \u201cwho knows what to do with that\u2026\u201d Well, you know. \u201cBrotein\u201d dives headfirst into Motorhead-style metal, complete with a bone-breaking half-time chorus. \u201cIt\u2019s the heaviest thing we\u2019ve ever written,\u201d says Zsa, \u201cbut\u2014as always\u2014we keep the lyrics light. Light in the loafers, that is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHome Sweet Homo\u201d is a pop-punk paean to a relationship gone hilariously wrong. \u201cIt\u2019s basically our version of Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, just with tacos and no emotional breakthroughs,\u201d says Zsa. \u201cCalifornia Boys\u201d flips the Beach Boys fantasy on its sunburnt ass, layering four-part harmonies in praise of their \u201cgolden locks \/ eating chicken strips, dumb as a bag of rocks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDr Booty\u201d stomps into classic KISS territory, the house call you didn\u2019t know you needed. Meanwhile, \u201cBonehenge\u201d and \u201cAnaphylactic Cock\u201d veer (dare we say it) into prog-rock terrain, a one-two punch in praise of a mythic obelisk. Of sorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title track, \u201cEndless Hummer\u201d brings the whole ride\u2014and the listener\u2014 back to the beach. It\u2019s arguably The Cocks\u2019 most joyful, celebratory song to date. \u201cWe had a ball with this one,\u201d says Zsa, \u201cIt\u2019s everything we love about Chuck Berry style rock \u2018n roll, but filtered through that Brian Wilson \/ Wrecking Crew magic that makes it unmistakably California.\u201d And while the song\u2019s irresistibly blunt chorus probably won\u2019t land the band on Top 40 radio anytime soon, The Cocks remain unfazed. \u201cAirplay\u2019s always a gamble\u2014especially with a name like The Cocks. But the fun? Off the charts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Endless Hummer, produced by The Cocks and Sejo Navajas, will be released digitally on April 10th, 2026 on all streaming platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n
