A cinematic, industrial rock<\/strong> experience that blurs the line between music and psychological thriller.<\/em>

Founded in late 2006 by Yann Reversat<\/strong> (guitarist, American School of Modern Music alum, ex-Norma Loy) and Joanna Louis<\/strong> (classically trained pianist and organist, former vocalist), Cig\u00fce<\/strong> is a bold fusion of rock, electro, and industrial<\/strong> : a sonic exploration of inner turmoil, paranoia, and existential dread.

Inspired by the raw intensity of Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly <\/strong>or Rob Zombie<\/strong>, their album Panic<\/em> dives deep into the abyss of schizophrenia, anxiety, and psychological unraveling<\/strong>. The experience is immersive: a dark, cinematic soundscape punctuated by haunting French film samples, creating an atmosphere that\u2019s as oppressive as it is hypnotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On stage, Cig\u00fce is a visceral spectacle<\/strong>. With Estelle\u2019s dark-psychedelic performances<\/strong> and Glam\u2019s live body piercing<\/strong>, their early Parisian shows (Sc\u00e8ne Bastille, Boule Noire, Klub) became legendary. Critics hailed their first two albums, Swallow the Pain<\/em> and Phobia<\/em>, as groundbreaking.

After relocating to Montpellier<\/strong> (France), the duo expanded into a powerhouse trio<\/strong> with drummer Josian Ribes<\/strong> (a 20-year autodidact with roots in goth, metal, and prog).
