Stuttgart-based dark rock outfit Astraya have unveiled the first glimpse into their new album with the release of the new single and video, \u201cA Spark Within\u201d. The band\u2019s second full-length album entitled \u201cAtropine\u201d will be released on 24 April 2026 via These Hands Melt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the single and video, the band said: \u201cA Spark Within\u201d holds a very special place for us. It came to life almost effortlessly, and from the very first moment we knew it had to be the opener of our record \u2014 and introduce this new chapter of ASTRAYA as our first single. We love playing it live because it carries so much power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It also marks the first time we allowed ourselves to lean into something brighter. The song begins in darkness, almost fragile and uncertain, but as it unfolds, a quiet strength emerges. By the end, it carries a simple but powerful message: no matter how heavy the night may feel, there is always a way forward, as long as you hold on to hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With the video, we wanted to capture exactly that feeling, the pure energy and joy we experience when performing the song. No elaborate storyline, no distractions, just the connection between us and the music. It\u2019s about that spark you can\u2019t fake, the intensity that only exists when we play it together.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
