On the surface, it\u2019s vampire kitsch; underneath, it\u2019s classic seduction wrapped in promises of eternal love, right up to and beyond the grave. The seduction doesn\u2019t really work out, though, so both of our heroes get angrier and angrier, and they end up more and more blood-soaked.<br>\u00a0<br>The initial inspiration came during long spring walks around the South Bohemian fish ponds when, above the melting ice there was nothing to see but raw, damp fog and flocks of crows. Musically, &#8220;Push The Fire&#8221; is a return to the roots: a straightforward, fast goth rock\u2019n\u2019roll song with a chorus that hits you straight in the face. The bridge is a conspiratorial wink toward the band,\u00a0<strong>The Mission<\/strong>\u00a0and their album,\u00a0<em>Severina<\/em>.<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cPush The Fire\u201d is a fast, rhythmically-pulsing track driven by Gatsby\u2019s bass and Barney\u2019s tribal drumming and features a soaring chorus adorned with Ambra\u2019s vocal acrobatics and Phil\u2019s trademark growl. The sound was produced and mixed by Brett Carruthers of the Canadian band,\u00a0<strong>The Birthday Massacre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"Cathedral In Flames - Push the Fire\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V2Wz_TgM1fw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming from mysterious Prague with an&nbsp;unrecorded past that goes back to the times before the fall of the Iron Curtain and early 90s. The dark legend appears from nowhere and is here to please all the fans of classic gothic rock. And what is more, it will do so in the 21st-century vibe.&nbsp;<strong>CATHEDRAL IN FLAMES<\/strong>&#8216; first EP.&nbsp;<em><strong>Children Of The Blackest Hole<\/strong><\/em>, was released in December 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two key members, Phil Lee Fall, a vocalist and a lyricist, and Gatsby, a composer and bass, keyboard and guitar player, are accompanied by the angelic voice of Ambra von Bernstein and the wild guitarist, Billac deVille.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CATHEDRAL IN FLAMES&nbsp;<\/strong>released their first regular full-length album,&nbsp;<strong><em>Hang Me High And Bury Me Deep<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;in 2021.
