THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT<\/a> <\/strong>(@tfp_devotion<\/a>) were hailed by Pandora as one of their \u201cArtists to Watch 2025: The Pandora Ten,\u201d which shined a light on a group of ten emerging artists across all genres that the platform believed would break big. The emo-rooted Atlanta band more than lived up to that expectation by last year achieving two #1 Active Rock singles on the Billboard and Mediabase charts: \u201cHoly Water<\/a>\u201d (featuring Ivan Moody<\/strong> of Five Finger Death Punch<\/strong>) and \u201cSuffocate City<\/a>\u201d (featuring Spencer Charnas<\/strong> of Ice Nine Kills<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now they\u2019ve just scored their third<\/em> #1 single from GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY<\/strong>, with \u201cDark Thoughts<\/a>\u201d reaching the top position on the Billboard \u201cMainstream Rock Tracks\u201d chart this week. This distinction that makes them one of \u201conly four acts to have sent their first three charted songs to the top spot,\u201d according to Billboard. And \u201cDark Thoughts<\/strong>\u201d didn\u2019t stop there, it\u2019s now #1 at Mediabase (Active Rock).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT<\/strong> has jumped headlong into 2026 with today\u2019s release of their first-ever live album, LIVE FROM SUFFOCATE CITY<\/strong> via Better Noise Music<\/strong>, available to stream\/download and purchase as a CD\/Blu-ray combo and on vinyl in their signature green and purple HERE<\/a>. To coincide with the album, the band is bringing the track \u201cStay Weird<\/strong>\u201d to cinematic life with today\u2019s video release HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
