DEATH B\u00a5 L\u00d8VE is a visionary music project that masterfully fuses gothic, industrial, and trip-hop influences with the evocative textures of Middle Eastern soundscapes. The band\u2019s hauntingly beautiful aesthetic is the creation of Polish singer-songwriter Inga Habiba and acclaimed American music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and remix artist Peter Guellard. For live performances, they are joined by guitarist Pam Simmons (ex Motorpsychos) and drummer Joe Palermo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the core of DEATH B\u00a5 L\u00d8VE is Inga Habiba, an artist renowned for her soul-stirring vocals and spiritual storytelling. Her multicultural upbringing informs her music profoundly, interweaving spiritual and cultural motifs into every note. A seasoned performer, Inga began her career at the age of 16 with the new wave band Nizam and has since fronted an impressive array of projects, including Monev, Ahimsa, and her enduring gothic rock band Lorien. Her distinctive vocal style, enriched by Middle Eastern influences, serves as a cornerstone of the band\u2019s signature sound. Beyond her musical pursuits, Inga is a devoted cultural activist and photographer, deeply committed to promoting intercultural understanding and championing humanitarian causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Guellard brings to the project his extensive expertise as a prolific music producer and a pivotal figure in the goth and industrial music scenes. As the frontman of the Polish goth band Blitzkrieg, Peter has also lent his talents to esteemed acts such as The Electric Hellfire Club, Venus In Furs, Mace, and Dichro. His remix work\u2014most notably his collaboration with NUN Electro\u2014was the spark that united him with Inga, laying the foundation for DEAT? B\u00a5 L\u00d8VE. In addition to his musical contributions, Peter is a celebrated video producer with a portfolio of notable accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signed to the US independent label Distortion Productions, DEATH B\u00a5 L\u00d8VE is poised to captivate the goth-industrial music scene. Their debut single, “Strong Inside,” accompanied by a striking music video and two remixes, premiered on January 31, 2025, offering a compelling glimpse into the band\u2019s artistry. The band is also finalizing their first full-length album, set for a summer release, which promises to deliver an immersive and richly layered musical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
