January 9th<\/sup>, 2025 – <\/strong>Dark alternative artist, SYS MACHINE<\/strong> has announced the release of their new single, \u201cDoubtless\u201d.  The song will appear on the forthcoming album, Parts Unknown<\/em><\/strong> due out April 10th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyrically, \u201cDoubtless\u201d rejects slogans and false assurances in favor of self-direction and personal accountability presenting a resolute posture rather than a brooding or reactive one. \u201cDoubtless\u201d explores maintaining sanity in an increasingly turbulent and chaotic world. SYS MACHINE<\/strong> founder, Dave McAnally says, \u201cDoubtless\u201d was influenced by the directness, realism & grounded perspective of Americana singer-songwriter artists like James McMurtry as well as modern electronic acts like Depeche Mode for their contemporary production.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoubtless\u201d is positioned as the foundation track for SYS MACHINE\u2019s <\/strong>forthcoming album to introduce the project\u2019s core emotional and sonic identity rather than serving as a stylistic outlier. The track sits firmly in electronic rock \/ dark alternative, incorporating art-pop and atmospheric elements. Built around a controlled, mechanical pulse with subtle textural shifts, \u201cDoubtless\u201d emphasizes tension and atmosphere over aggression or release. The vocals are integrated into the structure of the track rather than sitting above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forthcoming album is titled Parts Unknown<\/em><\/strong> because SYS MACHINE<\/strong> truly treaded new ground with these tracks. It represents a clear evolution in sound and approach for the project and introduces entirely new sonic territory for SYS MACHINE<\/strong>. Parts Unknown<\/em><\/strong> features contributions from fellow Glitchmode collective members, Sean Payne (production), Brad Huston and includes vocal contributions from Kimberly of Bow Ever Down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
