David Galas<\/strong>, American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and long-time member of the legendary darkwave band LYCIA<\/strong>, has teamed up with veteran music journalist Jos\u00e9 Carlos Santos<\/strong> and The Devil\u2019s Mouth<\/strong> for the exclusive full-album stream of the upcoming solo album, \u201cThe Nihilist<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, ahead of its release on 12 December via These Hands Melt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Nihilist\u201d finds Galas returning to a raw celebration of his post-punk roots. The record can be described as his most immediate yet fatalistic songbook to date, with lyrics drenched in apocalyptic pessimism and sounds that take over the legacy of bands like The Mission, Mephisto Waltz and Joy Division. The album delivers a haunting yet driving sound, ensuring that the fading hopes of our world have never sounded this good on a goth dancefloor.

All songs on \u201cThe Nihilist\u201d were written, performed, recorded and produced by David Galas. Visuals were handled by No Faith \/ Federico Salvador, design by Lucia Macip & These Hands Melt, while cover photography was completed by Michalina Wozniak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
