SOEN<\/strong> are a band who can tear your flesh apart with sheer power and moments later, balm the pain with beautiful melodies, and new single \u201cDiscordia<\/strong>\u201d is no exception. It takes the listener on a musical exploration, juxtaposing lush somber moments with crushing waves of relentless propulsion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018Discordia\u2019 is the result of us pushing ourselves into different territories both sonically and emotionally,<\/em>\u201d comments founding member and drummer Martin Lopez<\/strong>. \u201cWe experimented with darker textures to capture the descent from self-protection into isolation<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
