Lost Signal <\/strong>is the New York state-based electronic musician Charles Rehill, a collector of hardware synthesisers inspired by composers ranging from Vangelis to \u00d3lafur Arnalds. Signing his first record deal in the late \u201890s while still a teenager, his output has included a plethora of production and sound design jobs as well as a parallel career working for synth manufacturers. The compulsion to create and elevate life\u2019s colourful moments is why his Lost Signal project exists.

A brand new single entitled ‘Not The End Of Me’ is out via Metropolis Records today (17th October) as part of a remix package that also includes treatments of the previously released \u2018Entropy\u2019 STREAM<\/a> | BANDCAMP<\/a>. A raw and unflinching portrait of perseverance through self-doubt set against a stark yet melodic backdrop, ‘Not The End Of Me’ balances vulnerability with quiet resilience; a voice worn down by disappointment but unwilling to give in. With an introspective, honest lyric that is a promise to endure even when hope flickers low, the song is a soundtrack for anyone who has stood on the edge and chosen to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Not The End Of Me’ has been remixed by Assemblage 23, Magic Wands and SYSTEM SYN, with remixes of \u2018Entropy’ provided by genCAB and by Rehill himself as a ‘Time-Dilation Mix’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both ‘Not The End Of Me\u2019 and \u2018Entropy’ are included on ‘Light Of Other Days’, a new album by Lost Signal out on 7th November. Framed by the instrumental overture \u2018Departure’ and its closing counterpart \u2018Return’, it journeys through themes of memory, mortality and fragile hope. Songs such as ‘Dream Within A Dream’ and ‘Before Today’ wrestle with despair, resilience and the illusions we cling to, while \u2018Entropy’ expands the frame to cosmic finality. With its cinematic lyricism and shadowed textures, the album is a haunting meditation on what we remember, what we invent and what inevitably fades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
