RE:VIS:ER<\/strong> have returned with their most visceral and emotionally charged release yet \u2014 the new single \u201cDEAD EYES.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“DEAD EYES” is Goth-Pop. A musical bit of sour bubblegum in the vein of the poppier side of\u00a0The Cure<\/em>, with guitars at the forefront spilling melancholy melodies that chime and angle around a dancey drum machine, a catchy bass-line, and moody organs for good measure. Lyrically, “DEAD EYES” is an anti-love-letter, a tale of a long-suffering narrator realizing the mistreatment they’ve endured as a result of their abuser’s lack of a soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calling to mind classic 80\u2019s bands such as Sisters of Mercy, The Cure<\/em>, and Tones on Tail<\/em>, REVISER<\/strong> sounds complimentary to such contemporaries as Actors, House of Harm, and Traitrs. REVISER<\/strong> collects and redirects its familiar influences into something both familiar and foreign, a sound that is dark, deep, and danceable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
