US dark\/dream-pop duo\u00a0Magic Wands\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>release a new\u00a0album entitled \u2018Cascades\u2019 on 24th October via Metropolis Records. It includes their current single, ‘Time To Dream\u2019, as well as the previously issued \u2018Hide\u2019, \u2018Armour\u2019, \u2018Moonshadow\u2019 and \u2018Across The Water\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c’Cascades’ was born from a fascination with how the past lingers inside us and explores transformation and the spaces where timelines blur into one,\u201d <\/em>the band explain. Shaped by the spirit of centuries-old poetry, gothic romance and myth, the album pulses with post-punk and dream-pop sounds shot through with lingering shadows of the old world, bridging the sound of their 2012 debut album ‘Aloha Moon’ with more recent releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album will be promoted with an appearance at the Substance festival HERE<\/a> in Los Angeles on 7th November, with further shows to be arranged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
