After years spent chasing success in bands and projects that never left the ground, PARIAH was born at rock bottom for vocalist\/songwriter Quinn McGraw\u2014a place where grief, purpose, and defiance blur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cPendulum,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;PARIAH\u2019s debut single, sets the emotional tone\u2014a confession from the heart\u2019s lowest point, chronicling the toxic push and pull of chasing a calling that never fully loves you back. Written in the fallout from yet another broken band, the song personifies music as a wraith that can\u2019t be outrun; a purpose that haunts as much as it heals. Scenes. Friend groups. Even church,\u201d says Quinn. \u201cI was either too much, too different, or felt like I had to quietly fall apart while pretending I was fine. So now, when I think about community, I think about a space where people can actually show up as they are \u2014 the space I\u2019ve longed for my whole life. It\u2019s about being in a room where you don\u2019t have to explain your pain for it to be valid. Where you can just be \u2014 messed up, healing, raw, real \u2014 and know you\u2019re still welcome. That\u2019s what I\u2019m trying to build with PARIAH.
