This release offers the first glimpse into the band&#8217;s forthcoming debut album, &#8220;<em><strong>Stolen Season pt. I<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, slated for release on 21 November via\u00a0<strong>7 Mater<\/strong>, with distribution handled by\u00a0<strong>The Circle Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"FROM THE LAND - Psalm 2 (Official Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jqZHqrLV1kk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From The Land is the brainchild of&nbsp;<strong>Anatoly Pakhalenko<\/strong>, frontman of the dark folk band&nbsp;<strong>Nytt Land<\/strong>. Conceived in 2025, the project serves as an alter ego for Pakhalenko\u2019s creative exploration and experimentation within dark country and blues genres. The band&#8217;s aesthetic is described as a &#8220;<em>black and white world tired of all this s**t that&#8217;s going on around and gradually sinking into an endless sleep<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em><strong>Psalm 2<\/strong><\/em>\u201d is based on the biblical text of the second psalm, with its content and lyrics aligning with the main guitar riff and melody. The track also features a Mongolian traditional flute, the &#8220;shoor&#8221;, as a nod to Pakhalenko&#8217;s work with&nbsp;<strong>Nytt Land<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The song \u201cPsalm 2\u201d was composed by&nbsp;<strong>Anatoly Pakhalenko<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Aleksandr Rosliakov<\/strong>, with lyrics taken from the Bible. It was recorded at&nbsp;<strong>Nytt Land Studio&nbsp;<\/strong>between January and May 2025, with Anatoly Pakhalenko serving as recording and mixing engineer, and producer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From The Land draws inspiration from the works of H.P.
