Fueled by themes of propaganda, fear, and obedience masked as safety, \u201cSay Hey (For Doomsday)!\u201d delivers a raw commentary on how easily a population can be manipulated into surrendering rights in the name of protection. The message? Question everything, or be swallowed whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis track allowed me to channel a lot of my angst and resentment toward society,\u201d says frontman Xian Murder. \u201cSometimes it feels like the world is purposely imploding\u2014and we\u2019re helping it along.\u201d<br>With deep low-end grit, pounding rhythms, and a cinematic sense of doom, the track balances melody with menace\u2014making it one of the heaviest moments on The Sounds of Seven Angels, also released today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSay Hey (For Doomsday)! is a fun one to play\u2014it\u2019s forceful and driving, but there\u2019s a real darkness beneath it,\u201d adds drummer Scott Genovese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was stoked to break out the 7-string\u2014it brings the bite,\u201d says guitarist Jake Haimowitz. \u201cThis one calls back to my heavy roots.
