Electronic musician and vocalist Mari Kattman<\/strong> is known for both her solo work as well as being part of the duo Helix. \u2018Year Of The Katt\u2019 is her third solo album and includes the recent singles \u2018Anemia\u2019 and \u2019Sharp Shooter\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her first full-length release since signing to Metropolis Records in 2024, Kattman explains that \u201cfinishing this album was a truly herculean effort. It was completely recorded, composed and produced by myself, so there were a lot of learning curves and things I needed to sort out before I was truly happy with the end product. I feel relief and enormously proud that I got it done.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most captivating artists on the current electronic scene, Kattman has been writing, recording, producing and performing since 2012. She has collaborated with the likes of Assemblage 23, Mesh, Ivardensphere, Jean-Marc Lederman, Psy\u2019Aviah, Aesthetiche, Neuroticfish, BlackCarBurning, Cassetter, This Morn Omina, Solitary Experiments, Mephisto Walz, Aiboforcen, Interface, Comaduster and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kattman’s impressive resum\u00e9 of vocal contributions for these acts bely her own talents as a songwriter and producer. Singles such as \u2018Fever Shakes\u2019, \u2018URGOD.AI\u2019 and \u2018Swallow\u2019 have already demonstrated her prowess in crafting hook-laden, irresistibly catchy electronic songs tailor-made for the dance floor, where elements of Trap, Hip Hop, Electro, Ambient, EBM and Industrial music interplay with her powerfully distinctive voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
