Originally written in 1935 by Agust\u00edn Lara and Mar\u00eda Teresa Lara, it was popularised in the 1948 film \u2018Revancha\u2019 and later sung by pop singer Luz Casal in the 1991 Pedro Almod\u00f3var film \u2018High Heels\u2019. Deeply nostalgic and iconic within Latin culture, Night Ritualz delivers his own modern take on the song in an irreverently playful yet powerful synthwave style.<br><br>Night Ritualz initially drew inspiration from artists such as Depeche Mode, Deftones and At The Drive-In, blurring the line between dark wave, electronic, EBM and post-punk to create a genre he terms \u2018fuck wave\u2019. Having released a number of singles, these and several newer songs were&nbsp;included on &#8216;Night Ritualz\u2019, an album he describes as&nbsp;<em>\u201ca time stamp in my music journey.
