The trio has now released a new lyric video illustrating this fact, which is based on the remastered version of the track &#8216;Across the Ocean&#8217;. The song featuring an actual humpback whale will appear on the lavish 3-CD and 72-page artbook compilation entitled &#8220;Songs of Future Memories (1982-2022)&#8221; that has been scheduled for release on January 27, 2023 and can be pre-ordered from Dependent Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TWICE A MAN on the song and video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The song &#8220;Across the Ocean&#8221; is an appeal to care for life in the sea&#8221;, Dan S\u00f6derqvist explains. &#8220;We were invited by the association &#8216;Center for Studies of Whales and Dolphins to contribute to an exhibition at Kuturhuset in Stockholm in 1984, which led to the composition of &#8216;In the Eye of the Whale&#8217;. We went on to produce 3 songs out of this material. One of them, &#8216;Across the Ocean&#8217;, was remixed and released on a 12&#8243; single.
