They are a trio making music from three corners of the country including Oregon, Florida and New York and have just released a new 7-song EP entitled &#8220;Abandoned Wisdom,&#8221; their third release on the Distortion Productions label. This new EP abundantly supplies a wondrous collision between synth electronics, organic percussion and vocal harmonies.\u00a0 Monody members Daniel Edgar, David Battrick and Geoff Tripoli have always been driven by a shared love for electronic music along with a passion for thunderous concert performances that feature live drums. On &#8220;Abandoned Wisdom&#8221;, Monody reaches further into the future pop realm with addictive songs like \u201cArtificial Ignorance\u201d and \u201cStand,&#8221; that showcase the production work of Geoff Pinckney (Tenek, Cyclone Eye, The Nine) and the mastering of Krischan Jan-Eric Wesenberg (Rotersand).
