Featuring massive synth-driven soundscapes layered over harsh industrial guitars, &#8220;Welcome Back&#8221; is poised to further establish deadfilmstar\u2019s reputation for pushing the boundaries of industrial goth rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The story behind &#8216;Welcome Back&#8217; is to do with an old friend. He and I started out in bands together and both believed in the clich\u00e9 rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll dream but I was quickly confronted with the fact that, as I saw it, rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll was nothing more than a business model. He, however chose to believe that there was so much more to it all and led the life style to match. We no longer saw eye to eye and went our separate ways.
