Sometimes finding yourself means losing everything you thought you knew.
SIGNS OF TRANQUILITY confront that difficult truth head on with their powerful new single, “The Rise,” an emotionally charged anthem about breaking free from the life that is holding you back and having the courage to build something better.
“The Rise” isn’t simply a song about change. It’s about the pain, fear, uncertainty and strength required to completely reinvent your life.
At its heart, the song explores what happens when the things you’ve built your entire world around are ultimately the very things hurting you. Walking away can feel impossible. Starting over can feel terrifying. And sometimes, the dream of becoming the person you were meant to be seems impossibly far away.
But that’s where “The Rise” begins.
“The Rise is all about losing everything you’ve ever known in the search of becoming your best self, and creating a life that you wake up feeling excited about, and above all, living in peace.”
The song serves as a reminder that sometimes the first step toward a better life is recognizing that the life you’re currently living isn’t the one your heart is calling for.
Whether it’s a life you hate, a dream that seems impossible, an environment that continues to hold you back, or an addiction that has taken control, “The Rise” carries one central message: There is always a way out.
The imagery behind “The Rise” is rooted in the idea of seeing the life you truly want and making the decision to climb toward it.
That climb isn’t supposed to be easy. There will be fear. There will be setbacks. There will be moments when letting go seems easier than continuing upward. But the song refuses to surrender to that fear.
“I promise you, if you are brave enough to look up and see the life you truly want for yourself and get on that rope and climb… There is always a way out, and a chance to live the way your heart truly calls for.”
It’s a message about resilience without pretending that transformation is painless. Because sometimes you fall. Sometimes you lose your grip. Sometimes you have to start again. And that’s okay.
“Be Brave, Fearless, and if you fall off that rope, dust yourself off and get right back on.”
That philosophy is the emotional heartbeat of “The Rise.”
SIGNS OF TRANQUILITY is a Melodic Metal band with a touch of EDM from Denver, Colorado, USA. The vision for the project began years before its official formation, with the goal of blending the cinematic power of Symphonic Metal with the pulse of EDM and Industrial music. After laying the groundwork for this hybrid sound, musicians from across the Denver metro and surrounding areas came together in 2019 to form Signs of Tranquility. Work quickly began on a self-titled debut album and first live performance—until the global shutdown of 2020 paused everything.
Undeterred, the band pressed forward, collaborating remotely through online tools and pushing the project forward until early 2021. At that point, recording sessions resumed in Denver, leading to the completion of their debut album. The first single, All Against Me, was released in June 2021 with an accompanying music video. Shortly after, the band caught the attention of Pittsburgh-based independent label DI Records, leading to the release of three more singles—Alive and Well, Savior, and Vivid Emotion—alongside the album’s full release.
Since then, SIGNS OF TRANQUILITY has been building a strong presence in the Colorado metal scene and beyond. They’ve performed across the state, sharing stages with national and international acts such as Fate Destroyed, Burning Witches, Visions of Atlantis, and Seraina Telli. In 2023, the band embarked on their first mini-tour, performing at a Las Vegas metal festival, followed by a 2024 appearance at the Ladies of Metal Festival in Wyoming. The band also completed their first full tour called “The Consequences” in the summer of 2026 visiting Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho.
Currently, SIGNS OF TRANQUILITY is working on two brand-new EPs of original music, with the first singles, The Enforcer, and Forgotten available now. To truly experience what the band has become, fans are encouraged to catch them live—because that’s where the magic happens.
